Destiny Starts With God
Destiny starts with Gods will for your life. We must partner with Gods will to fulfill our purpose. Psalms 139:16-17 says ” your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book, they all were Written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them.” These verses explain how God has a book of your destiny. God has greatly thought about you, your life, and your destiny. His plans for you are perfectly thought out. Many people never partner with God to see what He has for them. They only pray for what they want, and what they think is best for them. They walk through life confused and frustrated when their plans don’t work, because they prayed for them and thought God would help fulfill, but it was never in Gods will for them to do it in the first place. Your destiny lies in your spirit man. When your spirit man and the Holy Spirit unite and work together you will start your destiny, as long as your flesh or your will does not get in the way. Your destiny is Gods will, so when you pray Gods will and not your own, you will begin to see things happen. The first step is to pray into it. Your destiny has already happened in Gods time, but in our time it has not. All you have to do is partner with God and lay your life down and pick up His. Jesus is an example. He laid His will and life down for us. While He was praying that the Lord take this from Him, He knew His destiny. He put His will down and His life even to death. I’m thankful Jesus fulfilled His destiny. He did not have to. Just like us, He had a choice. Our destiny is not to die on the cross for sin. Jesus has already done that. We need to pray and ask God what His will for my life is. Partner with the Holy Spirit and fulfill what the Lord has for you. Gods will lies inside of you. To get it out, you have to pray, stay in tune with God, and read your Bible. Gods will for your life will never go against His Word. Your destiny will align with the Bible. Your mind will have to be renewed daily, or it will get you off track (Romans 12:2) Your flesh has to stay in check, or it will get you off track. Align with God and stay on the path He made for you. Your destiny may not look like your friend’s destiny, and that’s ok. Don’t do the will of others but the will of the Heavenly Father. Seek God first on everything. He will never leave you or forsake you.
Psalms 139:16-17
Hebrews 13:5-6 I will never leave you or forsake you
Jeremiah 1:5 before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nation.
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
